Active Request for Proposals

The Asphalt Institute is the sole trade association that has been representing liquid asphalt industry since 1919 across North America. The Asphalt Institute Foundation, founded in 2014 has been instrumental in conducting strategic research answering key questions around the entire asphalt binder value-chain. We are pleased to announce a new Request for Proposal titled “Consequential Material Flow Analysis and Techno-Economic Assessment for Alternative Asphalt Binder Feedstock Sources”.

The objective of the research work will be to conduct data-driven research providing insights on long-term performance, economic feasibility, and scalability and other aspects for alternative asphalt binder feedstock sources in a holistic and consequential manner within the North American market. The AIF Sustainability Oversight Committee will be reviewing all the proposals and awarding the contract.
